Ken Porter's 1966 Plymouth Barracuda

1966 Plymouth Barracuda

Ken brought us this 1966 Plymouth Barracuda for a complete original restoration.  This is an upscale model with 273 cubic inch V-8 engine, factory air conditioning, bucket seats, floor shifted automatic transmission with console and power steering.   We pulled the 273 V-8 and sent it to a machine shop for rebuilding. The front and rear suspension were disassembled and rebuilt.  The body was completely disassembled. The glass was removed and weather stripping replaced. The body was repaired with new metal panels. PPG primer and Citron Gold paint and clear were applied and buffed to a high gloss finish. The chrome parts were stripped and replated. New carpeting was installed from the front to the rear as was original. the seats were restored with new original seat covers. A new headliner was installed as was an upgraded factory chrome steering wheel.
